Danziggy: Gone Fishin' 3!
Danziggy never tried fly fishing before, so he was a guinea pig with human hands and feet.
He got the fly with ten cent price!

Caffeinated Compilation IV!
So I have this track on the Caffeinated Recordings Compilation IV.
Vendetta! It is not a true story, I just like murder ballads. There are 22 more awesome tracks on this compilation, and also check out the awesome artwork, done by my awesome wife!
This is the second time Caffeinated has put me in their compilation. Here's last year's contribution!
Eventually these will go on an actual album from me, all in due time.

CAKE Chicago Reminder!
Friendly reminder to the few readers and many spambots who frequent my site, I'm at CAKE Chicago tomorrow and Sunday, and in a new development, I will have a small edition of 100 or so mini-mini-comics for free. Everything else is not for free still, because money can be exchanged for goods and services, which I use on a regular basis.

CAKE Chicago! (and a bonus Daniziggy!)
I will be doing the Chicago Alternative Comics Expo (CAKE), June 16 and 17, 2012, at Columbia College, Ludington Building, 1104 S Wabash, Chicago, Illinois! Hours are 11 am to 6 pm, both days, and totally free to the public. For my very few regular readers and the many Russian spambots who visit this site, you may notice that this is the same place the Chicago Zinefest was located. It is on the 8th floor, too; however, I will be on the opposite side of the building. Table 40 to be exact. Stop by and say hi! And buy my silly-books so I may feed my cats! Here is a map! And here is the poster!
Poster by Laura Park.
(edit - I just realized I have one of her comics from three years ago. Is awesome!)
I am not debuting anything this time around, unless I get crazy cracking right now. But I have been working! Behold, Danziggy is irritated with his witch doctor and receptionist:

April 28 at Quenchers! With Whales and The Family Ghost
Next Saturday I'm playing at Quenchers with Whales and The Family Ghost! Here is the poster:
Confusion? Unfortunately, The Uncertain Sea of Denver, CO, is unable to make the thousand mile trek across the continent for the show. It's a hell of a long drive and gas is stupid expensive. Also, this was meant to be a record release show for Quarter 5 of the PRF singles club, of which all of the above bands plus two more will be a part of, but due to some difficulties with the pressing plant, it will not be ready in time. It's probably my fault, as (though I am not usually superstitious) for every single record release show I have ever had, the record was not ready in time. Every single one. It's ok though, because this will be an awesome show, and I will have new songs, and The Family Ghost is coming up from Memphis, and Whales are great.

Easter Sunday at The Whistler!
I'm playing with two of my favorite bands on Easter! Bone And Bell! Transmontane! This is happening on Sunday night:
Show info! And it is free! Skip church and come here instead! I will play some new songs, too.

Zinefest Preparation *plus* Peehole #8!
So! I am busily preparing for Zinefest coming up this weekend, printing and stapling comics at lightning pace*, as well as getting the layout set for Peehole #8, which I will be debuting at Saturday's festivities. I have a few sneak previews of the issue already up on the blog here. Seating assignments for the fest have been set up, and I am going to be up on the 8th floor, at Table 57. Here is floor map! Come by and say hi!
*I did state earlier that I was making my cats do the stapling and folding at sweatshop wages so that they would be pulling their weight around the house more, but that didn't work too well because their little paws can't operate a stapler, and the couldn't earn sweatshop wages because cats don't sweat. So I took over the stapling, and I put them to work giving me back rubs instead.

Chicago Zine Fest!
So, I am going to have a table at the Chicago Zine Fest this year. Actually, half a table, because that is how they do it. I'll have all seven issues of Peehole available, and I am hoping to have an eighth issue finished by then. (fingers crossed!)
It's 11 am to 6 pm, Saturday, March 10, at the Conaway Center, Columbia College, 1104 South Wabash, Chicago, Illinois, USA, Earth. Plus some activities at Quimby's the night before.
Poster by Lilli Carré.
Should be fun! Come see me and say hi! And buy my comics! Help feed my cats! They haven't been pulling their weight around the house, so I've been putting them to work stapling my comics together at sweatshop wages.
Also, make sure to pronounce "zine" the way you would pronounce "dine" or "mine", because it's funnier that way.
